September Wrap Up - Expo, AGM, and more!

September, like the rest of 2023, has been a busy one as we continue our 50th Anniversary celebrations and get ready for not only our Fall 2023 production, but the Eastern Ontario Drama League's One Act Festival.

This weekend we also hosted the 2023 ITR AGM. We are thrilled to be joined by some new faces on our board: Kim Blanche, Vivian Beck and Daniel Bourget. We bid farewell to Paola Della Malva as a Director at Large (but we have a sneaking suspicion we will still see her around the theatre circles). Earlier this month, on September 9th, ITR hosted a Community Theatre Expo. As the first event of its kind in our community, it was lovely to see the turnout and to be joined by so many fellow theatre groups. Thank to you all who participated, it was a lovely day! This was another event organized by our 50th anniversary committee in celebration of all we have accomplished at ITR. For their great efforts, and continued dedication to ITR, the 50th committee was awarded this year's President's Award. Thank you so much Helen Visbach, Sheila Dubyk, and Krista Lang. We wouldn't be the same without your love for ITR.

Looking forward, the EODL's One Act Festival quickly approaching. ITR will be preforming on the Friday, November 3rd. Tickets are available now, you can find them on Facebook or the "Box Office" section of the ITR website.

Our Fall 2023 production of "Staff Room" by Joan Burrows will take place this year November 24th - December 3rd. Tickets will go on sale early October.
