As the first event in our celebration of 50 years of the ITR Community, we are thrilled to present a Mary Jane Maffini Murder Mystery, Death by Dénouement.

“The Padgett’s Players, a highly active community theatre group in Padgett’s Corners, Ontario, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with more than the usual competition and sniping while rehearsing “The Corpse Takes a Bow”, a play that’s been written especially for the troupe. Simmering tensions come to a boil on opening night and a series of disasters strikes the players. Brace yourself: not everyone makes it to curtain call! But who would be behind such diabolical actions? The ITR theatre audience will be essential in solving the crime. A word to the wise: “Trust no one."

Mary Jane is an award-winning local mystery writer and just recently won the Play Writing Workshop Grande Finale with You’ve Got New Relatives.

Performances of the play, which include a delicious meal by Lolacher’s Catering, will be held on March 3 at 6:30 (dinner) and March 4 at noon (lunch). View Menu

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased starting February 1, 2023 on our website. Because this show is taking the place of our regular Valentine’s Day offering, 10% of ticket sales will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. There are only 56 tickets available per show, so don’t delay getting yours.
