Dirk has been kicking around theatre for most of his life, from various roles in Fredericton High School musical theatre to the starring role in their production of "Oedipus Rex" and later with the University of New Brunswick's drama society. Since moving to the Kemptville area he has acted in numerous comedies, mysteries, and dinner theatres with The Kemptville Players, as well as a role in "Little Women" with the Smith's Falls Theatre.
